You will eat and drink well at Blue Skies! Slowly awaken with your morning caffeine from the espresso/coffeemaker (or tea from the electric kettle) as the rising sun casts its glow on Mount San Jacinto. Follow that with a light poolside lunch, a round of cocktails prepared on the living area’s wet bar. Then dinner from the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ grill, savored at a 6-person dining table illuminated by an artistic chandelier.

SLEEP 

Two bedrooms and two baths sleep four guests comfortably, all on one level.

In the master suite, find an ultra-plush king-size bed on a rich, dark wood frame, a 45″ HDTV/Blu Ray player, a walk-in closet, and an en-suite master bath featuring a huge step-down tub and shower with safety bars. Open the window shade in the shower for a pool view, too!

The guest bedroom also features an upgraded, dual-king mattress, HDTV, and private access to the guest bath, which has a glass-enclosed stall shower with safety bars and another door to the hallway to serve the common areas.

A poolside BBQ Weber grill with a mountain view is a great place to prepare dinner to eat poolside. So is the fully equipped kitchen with bar seating and everything you need for meal preparation —whether you keep it simple with coffee and fruit or prepare a full feast for everyone. A modern, glass-top dining table seats 6 adjacent to the kitchen.

SLEEP 

Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, chic boho furnishings, and access to outdoor space (the master suite to the pool deck and the guest bedroom to its own patio). The master suite has a California King bed wrapped in a modern, peacock-blue coverlet, a walk-in closet, and a recently renovated bath with a tiled step-in shower and sunken tub. Peek out to the pool area from your shower!

Both showers, the toilets, and the pool have safety bars to guide you.

The dusty rose and gray-toned guest bedroom features two twin beds that can be converted to one king, a slim desk and private access to the guest bath, which has another door to the hallway to serve the common areas.

Through sliding, shuttered doors, step out to the guest bedroom’s private meditation patio (yoga mats provided!).

If you plan to cook, you will find everything you need here! The kitchen is fully equipped and stocked (there’s even a spice rack!), with a gas stove top & oven, dishwasher, side-by-side fridge (with ice for your cocktails) and a collection of small appliances, including a blender for smoothies, a coffeemaker and electric kettle.

Two bar stools cozy up to the counter in the kitchen so that the chef doesn’t have to work alone, and a nearby dining table seats 4.

Pluck a grapefruit from the tree on the front patio (when in season) for the freshest breakfast you can imagine. Also on this patio is a gas BBQ grill and a shaded dining table, offering another option for dinner.

SLEEP

Both bedrooms at Shangri-La have their own private baths, flat-screen TVs, DVD players and access to the outdoors.

The master suite features a California-King platform bed, a bonus lounging area with its own fireplace and wet bar, walk-in closet, sliding glass doors to the patio, and two full en-suite baths that provide a spa-like experience.  One has a glass-enclosed step-in shower, the other a roomy, two-person step-down tub and shower and a separate door to the pool patio. The master suite is like a studio apartment, with two (yes, two!) full baths, a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a separate sofa, an alpaca rug in front of a romantic gas fireplace, and sliding-glass door access to the pool. The main master bath also has a door to the pool area, as well as a sunken tub and shower and a separate room for the toilet. A second bathroom within the master suite has its own toilet, a vanity, and a sliding door to a redwood steam room with an adjoining walk-in tiled shower.

We love the wood furniture in Villa le Monde’s master bedroom, with its honeyed lacquer finish and midnight-blue bedding.
